These two are for an article on Christmas consumerism, which you can have a look at here. The first illustration is about consumerism and the pressure to buy more and more presents each year, the stress and horrible feeling of being weighed down with bags and bags of stuff. The second illo counteracts this and is the opposite, i.e. the nice side of christmas, children with homemade decorations, helping each other dress the christmas tree.

An illustration for an article on Christmas Decorations written by Hannah Bullivant. I tried a different style of illustration for this and experimented with silohouettes and shapes and was quite happy with the result and so was my robin.
