Moosical Features!

Have a gander at the Fashion in film article in Amelia's Magazine written by the lovely Matt Bramford here. My illustration was featured of a grand piano , I used different patterns and musical sheet paper for where the sheet music is read, I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

Also a lovely interview with uber cool London band DRY THE RIVER who was interviewed by Amelia Gregory, featured my illustration of the band.

My take on a Phenomenon!

Two illustrations

My illustrations were featured twice in Amelia's magazine today with two very lovely articles. So excited!!!!

The first one is accompanying Fashion in Film, a article here on 1928 Moulin Rouge written by Gavin Mackie with illustrations by myself, Abi Daker, Katie Harnett, Joana Faria and Karina Yarv.

The next article by Jess Furseth is about Twitter Knitter so "Do a good deed today and send a tweet to #warmupcamden, to help the crafty people of TwitterKnitter knit for the homeless".  People are knitting scarves with people suggested tweets knitted on them and they will be distributed to the homeless in the Camden area, its a fantastic idea! Article can be read here with two illustrations by myself and the other one by Antonia Parker.

The first illo is of a homeless girl with the scarf with the suggested tweet of the 'good, the bad and the snuggly' and the second is a collage of scarves with various tweets on them, created with collage of diferent colour wools.

Illustration Rally

Illustration Rally featured my work on their lovely website, one of my Christmas illustrations. See the lovely feature here along with other artists Shona McQuillan and Helmetgirl .

I have been busy working on my book which is coming along nicely. I didn't get as much as I thought done on it as I was working on an illustration for Amelias' which will hopefully be up on the site tomorrow.

Fam irvoll.

An illustration featured in Amelias magazine today also, see here. Was a pleasure to do as the clothes are so colourful and quirky , was very easy and fun to do, I'm loving contributing to the magazine, its only my third illustration for it but hopefully there will be many more to come.
The illustration accompanies an interview with norweigan designer Fam Irvoll who was inspired by toys , films, pop art and Alice in Wonderland, along with some really lovely illustrations of the designers' work by my fellow lovely illustrators.

Haus project

"A house is being built and everyone is invited! Let us try and draw the tallest house in the whole wide world together! Draw the inside, draw the outside or turn anything you can think of into a Haus Story!
Just like a Jenga tower we will be placing block upon block to create a beautiful structure that will leave the tower of Babel feeling envious"
